The Phantoms are actively recruiting players for this season and
for the future. To be eligible to play, you must be a
student on a relevant classification at either APU campus, or
any other university within our catchment area. If you are
unsure about your eligibility, contact any of the addresses
below and we can guide you towards becoming a Phantom or joining
the league some other way.
We welcome players of any experience, size or knowledge of the
game and we are committed to introducing people to the sport in
this country. We believe that college level football
provides the highest turnover potential of new players to the
game, and acts as a good introductory system for players who may
wish to carry on to a higher level.
We are able to
hire out the majority of equipment that a player might need for
a small cost*, including helmets, shoulder pads and
leg protection. You can also pay a deposit for a
game jersey, or purchase your own, which comes with the
added bonus of having your own name and number on the shirt
(which many teams do not offer) so you can wear it around the
university with pride!
